Types of training
At GS1 Australia, we recognise that your time is valuable and it can be difficult to find time to attend face-to-face training. For this reason, we provide a range of different training options at various locations: at our premises, on your site or at alternative venues, and online.
Our most popular type of training, our classroom sessions, offer you the opportunity to learn from our expert instructors in a face-to-face environment. Sessions include engaging presentations from subject matter experts, interactive activities and opportunities to ask questions.
Classroom training is provided at our GS1 Australia offices in both Melbourne and Sydney, and at various locations throughout Australia.
Private on-site training
GS1 Australia can provide customised training which gives you and your team the opportunity to explore the GS1 System in the context of your business.
Prior to preparing and delivering training, we consult with your team to determine learning needs. Your tailored training session is provided by a subject matter expert at a time and location that suits you.
Consulting fees and charges apply.

Training in regional Australia
If you are a GS1 Australia member situated in regional Australia, you may not have the opportunity to attend our training sessions, usually scheduled in the capital cities.
Our training team is interested in finding ways to support GS1 training in your region. GS1 Australia can attempt to identify other local businesses who can join you to make a potential training session in your area viable.

You can participate in scheduled webinars covering specific aspects of the GS1 System and GS1 Australia services.
Each of our webinars is hosted by a subject matter expert who will guide you through an online presentation. To join a webinar simply register and you will be sent login details.
