Useful Tips:
  • A GTIN cannot be the Base Unit and have Next Lower Levels.

  • If A GTIN is flagged as the lowest level of the hierarchy then the field Child GTIN must be Blank.

  • If a GTIN is flagged as the lowest level of the hierarchy then the field Trade Item Unit Descriptor Code is generally populated with the code BASE_UNIT_OR_EACH.
