GS1 Digital Link Standard

Native QR codes are not part of the GS1 standard, but when using the GS1 Digital Link URI syntax it can encode all application identifiers and can also point to web content for consumer engagement. Currently it is approved for use for consumer engagement and retail Point-of-Sale (in conjunction with a linear barcode) environments only. You can encode GTIN only or GTIN plus additional attributes based on your use case.
