Metcash NPC Supplier Onboarding

The Metcash eData project aims to enhance supply chain efficiency by establishing a single, real-time source of truth product data and pricing. This initiative is supported by integration with GS1’s National Product Catalogue (NPC).

Suppliers can load their product data & pricing into their NPC catalogue and publish it to the relevant business pillars in Metcash including IGA, CCC and ALM.

How Metcash uses the NPC

Once suppliers have completed the onboarding process with Metcash, the Metcash eData team will conduct a live synchronisation process to validate and align the data before switching on the automatic updates, allowing data to flow through from NPC into MetProducts.

This system integration allows Metcash to leverage on the synchronised, real-time data from NPC to streamline their supply chain efficiency and improve overall data accuracy.
