Description:

A code assigned by the supplier to indicate to the data recipient, the reason for sending the price information contained within the specified segment within the Price Synchronization Message. The data recipient is able to use this code to determine the nature of the action associated with each price component within each price type segment. the addition of a new record, the modification of an existing record or the correction of an existing record.

Example:

ADD – the additional of a new price record

CHANGE_BY_REFRESH – the modification of an existing record

Useful Tips:
  • Prices are added to GTINs that are marked as Invoice Units.

Metcash

  • If a price has a future start date and it’s incorrect, use a DELETE action code to cancel a price. The end availability date remains empty.
