For devices: The number of times the same device type appears in the packaged product.

Where a product is a kit, each separate product within the kit is entered as a component.

Example:

Product contains 5 blister packs, each with 10 tablets. Number of identical containers - “5”

Product contains 2 ampoules, each with 30mL solution. Number of identical containers - “2”

Product contains 100 loose nail files. Number of identical containers/devices - "100"

Useful Tips:

  • This attribute should be completed with reference to the 'Countable Items' attribute. Completion of the number of identical containers may depend on how the product is packaged.

  • Must be provided if Healthcare Component Type = D or M
