Useful Tips:

  • This attribute is mandatory for all items in the product hierarchy.

  • Avoid using commas and symbols in this field.

  • The Functional Name is normally also included in the Trade Item Description.

AU/NZ Healthcare Sector

  • Generic medication ingredient and strength should not be included in the functional name. This data should be placed in the Medicine Device Unit Name C1D1 field.
