Learn How to Get More GS1 Barcode Numbers for Your Products

When you join GS1 Australia, you are initially assigned a set batch of numbers:

• If turnover is <$50M, you'll be assigned an 8 digit GS1 Company Prefix giving you 10,000 GTINs and other GS1 Identification Keys

• If turnover is >$50M, you'll be assigned a 7 digit GS1 Company Prefix giving you 100,000 GTINs and other GS1 Identification Keys

If you use up your entire assigned batch of numbers and need more, additional number ranges can be assigned on request, at any time. You'll need to pay a fee to get more numbers than your allocation range.
