Get Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to market faster and easier
GS1 Australia understands the urgent need for additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), expecting that many businesses wanting to support our community or needing to find new opportunities will re-tool and commence PPE manufacture as quickly as possible. This has been encouraged by the call-to-action from the NSW Premier in March 2020.
As some companies who step up may not be regular suppliers to healthcare, they may not be aware that state and territory health departments, and many other health provider organisations, require identification, barcoding and product data using GS1 standards to help ensure accuracy and traceability of products.
To support manufacturers in meeting these needs fast and help get critical supply chains flowing, we make the following offer to those businesses manufacture PPE products. This offer is valid for the duration of the COVID-19 crisis in Australia.
All companies supplying PPE and other critical medical equipment can be listed here.
