Country of Origin food labelling (CoOL)
The Australian Government has introduced the new Country of Origin Labelling (CoOL) requirements for food sold in Australia
The changes will become mandatory from 1st July 2018 and will give Australian consumers clearer information about where their food comes from.
Under the changes, most food grown, produced or made in Australia will have to carry a familiar kangaroo symbol and bar chart with accompanying text that shows the proportion of Australian ingredients in the product.
Suppliers can enter CoOL attribute data in the National Product Catalogue and on send this information to retailers/recipients.

Healthcare suppliers - Data Quality Insights
The National Product Catalogue was implemented in healthcare to support the industry need for standardised, supplier managed data across the whole of the healthcare value chain to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Based on the principles of 'data synchronisation', the National Product Catalogue in Healthcare enables the sharing and updating of quality standard data that is required to link physical products to clinical practice as well as supporting quality processes, data capture and analytics within health.
The National Product Catalogue Data Quality Report is sent monthly.
