AUS-MEAT Limited, incorporating AUS-MEAT Standards and AUS-MEAT Commercial Services, is responsible for establishing and maintaining National Industry Standards for Meat Production and Processing. AUS-MEAT Limited offers a large range of services throughout Australia including Management, Auditing, Training and Consultancy to all sectors of the Meat and Livestock Industries. We work with Aus-Meat to implement global identification and communication standards within the meat sector.

Australian Food & Grocery Council

We work together with the Australian Food and Grocery Council on industry initiatives such as food labelling, PIF and sustainability. We are also working to incorporate the Health Star Rating (HSR) into GS1 services including National Product Catalogue and Smart Media.

Drinks Association

The drinks association is a trade association operating within the Australian drinks industry for the benefit of its members. The association specialises in information and services, and strives to be the preeminent supplier of high quality products and services to the Australian drinks industry. We work with the Drinks Association to identify and implement standards and solutions to drive efficiencies in the liquor sector.

Efficient Consumer Response Australasia

We are working with Efficient Consumer Response Australasia (ECRA) on industry initiatives such as Recallnet – multi-coded pallet labelling, express receipting, establishing a B2B roadmap, raising data integrity and improving the process of introducing new products.

Foodservice Industry Australia (FIA)

Foodservice Industry Australia (FIA) is a national organisation representing businesses involved with the foodservice industry throughout Australia. FIA works collaboratively with industry representatives and similar organisations in each state, to assist each other with business, networking and to enrich the industry as a whole. We work with FIA to drive adoption of GS1 standards in the foodservice industry.

PMA Australia and New Zealand

We are working together to encourage the fresh produce industry to move from generic PLU numbers to supplier assigned GTINs and, subsequently, to DataBar.

The Foodservice Suppliers Association Australia

The Foodservice Suppliers Association of Australia (FSSA) has been operating since 2005 and is the only National organisation representing all suppliers to the foodservice industry. FSSA is focused on creating opportunities for members and enabling networking, education and professional development. FSSA does this through sales training, recruitment, mentoring, data provision, consulting and legislative advice. We work with FSSA to drive adoption of GS1 standards in the foodservice industry.
