Who is RosettaNet Australia
RosettaNet Australia is a not-for-profit organisation. It became the Australian Affiliate for RosettaNet after a formal agreement was signed at the RosettaNet World Conference in Singapore in March 2004. RosettaNet was formally launched in Australia on 14 September 2004 by Mr. Herman Stiphout, RosettaNet Global President.
RosettaNet Australia is administered by GS1 Australia, the not-for-profit organisation responsible for administering the global, multi industry system of identification and communications for products, services, assets and locations - GS1 System
, in Australia. GS1 Australia is a member of GS1 Global, who is responsible for RosettaNet.
The RosettaNet Australia team
RosettaNet Australia is staffed by GS1 Australia. Currently RosettaNet responsibility has been assigned to:
- Steven Pereira - Director RosettaNet Australia
- Sue Schmid - RosettaNet Manager
The GS1 Australia's Professional Services team will be able to assist companies who wish to proceed down the RosettaNet implementation path.
The RosettaNet Australia Board of Users
The RosettaNet Australia Board of User acts a steering committee to actively promote and develop the adoption of the RosettaNet standards in Australia's high tech and supporting sectors. The financial responsibility for RosettaNet Australia remains with the holding company, GS1 Australia. Current members of the RosettaNet Australia Board of Users are:
