A great deal of assistance and implementation support is available to GS1 Australia members and industries actively involved in implementing the GS1 System
.
Our dedicated Customer Service Team provide a variety of membership services including:
- Expert advice on the eight steps required for GS1 System implementation
- Assistance on how to apply barcodes and numbers
- Helpdesk support on GS1 System queries
- Onsite visits
- Education and Training (sessions include introductions to the GS1 System, EPCglobal and RFID, and tours through the Supply Chain Knowledge Centre)
As part of GS1 Australia's commitment to industry, the Customer Service team is also responsible for the delivery of the 'Industry Engagement Program' that assists the industry wide adoption and education of the GS1 System. Currently GS1 works with eighteen industry sectors in Australia to improve supply chain efficiency between trading partners by utilising eCommerce and GS1 global standards.
