The Learn: GS1net™ / NPC (Data Synchronisation) session is designed to familiarise new members to understand, and existing members to consolidate their knowledge of GS1net™ / NPC, Australasia’s leading data synchronisation platform. The session provides fundamental information on the key aspects of GS1net™ / NPC (for the Healthcare industry) and how it contributes to best practices in supply chain management. This session is the pre-requisite for the Knowledge and Masterclass levels in GS1net™ / NPC (Data Synchronisation).

The Learn: GS1net™ / NPC (Data Synchronisation) session is held over a three hour morning session, starting at 9:00 am and concluding at 12:15 pm. The session includes a 15 min break.
What will you learn?
- Brief Introduction to GS1 Australia and its key areas of activity including Numbering and Barcoding, eCommerce, GDSN (Global Data Synchronisation network) and EPC / Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies and how Data Synchronisation fits in the overall GS1 System of standards
- This entry level session will provide a solid foundation on Data Synchronisation, the key concepts and tools, suggested milestones for implementation, a survey of available support and online resources.
- The sessions contain interactive workshops and activities assisting participants in consolidating the understanding of the material presented.
