EPCglobal Membership
How to subscribe to EPCglobal
You will need to provide the following information when completing a subscription request:
Step 1: Determine your subscription type
- End User
Includes manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, carriers and Government. In general terms, End Users are the organisations that have objects in motion in the supply chain. - Associate Membership
Includes Government, Industry Associations and educational institutions. - Support Membership
Support membership to EPCglobal Australia is available for local divisions of EPCglobal International members who require support from EPCglobal Australia. Support members share the same benefits as their Australian headquartered counterparts with the exception that they are:
- - Not permitted to participate in the international working groups and
- - Cannot be allocated EPC manager numbers
- - Can participate in local working group
- Australian Solution Partners
Include hardware and software companies, consultants, systems integrators, training companies, and trade associations. Solution Providers are the organisations that help End Users move goods through the supply chain.
Consistent with the GS1 Australia Alliance Partner Program, the goal of this program is to establish EPC compliant Information Communications and Technology suppliers to support the growing EPCglobal end user community in their implementation of RFID technology.
Step 2: Provide the location of your company's headquarters
Your company should subscribe to EPCglobal in the country where your global headquarters is located. If your company is a division of a larger holding company, subscription must be made by the parent company. If your company is not headquartered in Australia you can subscribe as a support member of that subscription type.
Step 3: Determine the global annual revenue for your company
The subscription fee will be based on the global annual revenue of the parent company. Once this information has been submitted, an invoice with the subscription fee will be sent. Please note, the revenue identified on the application form must reflect that of the entire company, not just the division.
Step 4: Complete the Subscription Form and Send it to us
Complete the subscription form available. If you are not already a GS1 Australia member you will also need to complete a GS1 Australia Membership application form.
Step 5: Complete EPC manager number request form
If a manager number is required, please complete EPC manager number request form and submit to EPCglobal Australia. Contact GS1 Australia for more information.
Step 6: Working Groups
If you require access and are eligible to working groups, please complete the IP Policy and return to GS1 Australia. Contact GS1 Australia for more information.
