GS1 Healthcare Seminar (with National Product Catalogue Training)

Introduction
Developed specifically for organisations operating throughout the healthcare supply chain, this seminar will be divided into two sessions to cover:
- Use of the GS1 System in Healthcare - what’s happening now and the future initiatives relating to use of GS1 numbering, barcoding, and eMessaging;
- Training: Introduction to the National Product Catalogue (NPC).
Key Topics and Outcomes
Morning session
Attendees will gain an understanding of:
- Both the local and global healthcare landscape and the use of the GS1 System in this context;
- Work being undertaken by the National eHealth Transition Authority (NEHTA);
- Application of the GS1 System for e-Procurement in the supply chain
Afternoon Session
We recommend that you attend the morning session prior to attending the afternoon session.
NPC Training will cover a general introduction to the NPC catalogue and includes:
- NPC overview
- How to start your NPC project
- NPC key concepts and terminologies
- Steps to “Becoming NPC Ready and NPC Live”.
Please note that this training will not be specific to each organisation.
