Developed specifically for organisations operating throughout the healthcare supply chain, the GS1 Healthcare day is divided into two sessions that cover:
- Seminar: Use of the GS1 System in Healthcare - what’s happening now and the future initiatives relating to use of GS1 numbering, barcoding, data synchronisation (National Product Catalogue) and eMessaging
- Training: Introduction to the National Product Catalogue (NPC)

National Product Catalogue (NPC) Training
We recommend that you attend the morning session prior to attending the afternoon session.
NPC Training will cover a general introduction to the NPC and includes:
- NPC overview
- How to start your NPC project
- NPC key concepts and terminologies
- Steps to “Becoming NPC Ready and NPC Live”
Note: this training will not be specific to each organisation.
